Don't Let It Define You
It's easier to believe you're a failure when you've tried many things and failed.
It's easy to lose hope when the circumstances surrounding you look hopeless.
It's easy to think you're not good enough when you don't get the results you expect.
Here's the thing you have to know: There is no easy way out of any challenge
that is really worth it.
Even though it's easier to believe in negativity because it appears to be all around you, you must hold strongly onto your vision of yourself and the kind of life you want to live.
Keep looking on and never lose focus on what you want out of life. Even when you try and fail, keep taking step by step action.
This game is all about how strong your faith is in your vision and how much you can withstand the storm.
If you let the storm defeat you, you've lost. You've got to stay strong. Don't let your challenges and problems define who you are. That's wrong.
That things are tough in your country doesn't mean you will not succeed or flourish in that same country.
That most people are living in poverty and hardship doesn't mean you will live in that same way.
That you put in your best and you get results that do not reflect your efforts does not mean that you're not good enough.
Forget about these statistics designed to scare you. No matter the harsh circumstances, there are people who are still bubbling and excelling.
Why can't you be one of them? Why should you listen to the "no hope" sermon preached everywhere? Why would you lose hope in your dreams?
Don't let these things define who you are, if not you will make the mistake of wrong identity with negativity.
You define yourself. You have a good sense of your own worth and don't let anything tell you otherwise.
You only let yourself define yourself and the world won't have a choice but to respect your definition.
It is unshakable belief that shifts things, breaks laws and makes extraordinary things happen.
Whatever you are facing is simply a test of your faith and belief in who you are, your God, your vision and your purpose.
If your faith is strong enough, there will be no room for doubt. You will always see the light at the end of the seemingly endless tunnel.
And that flicker of light is what keeps you fired up in such a way that nothing can shift your belief.
Believe, just believe, take action, let nothing move you and don't let these circumstances define you.
One day, you will look back and laugh at the storm which tried so hard to keep you trapped.
Just trying to make some sense this Sunday.
