Pain Does Not Last

"You may encounter many defeats, but you must not be defeated. In fact, it may be necessary to encounter the defeats, so that you may know who you are, what you can rise from, and how you can still come out of it.

For every obstacle that comes your way, you should be thankful. Imagine how unchallenging life would be without the hurdles we have to jump over to get to our destinations daily.

Many great people have been made who they are by the challenges they faced at some period in their lives, they however overcame the difficult periods by gaining strength to overcome.
I have seen babies cry and few seconds later, they laugh… In life, pain never lasts."

People often run away from pain. And by pain, I mean situations that are stressful or difficult and usually require tough sacrifices. However, pain isn't something we should run away from because it helps us to learn and brings out the very best in us.

Pain is actually the ladder to what we want. If we want something, we have to go through the required pain for that thing. Pain is like the fire that purifies gold.

A student who wants to ace all his subjects in school has to go through the rigours of intensive study without which he cannot achieve his objective. Studying hard for his exams and sacrificing certain pleasures just to get that target is pain.

A man who decides to take up jobs available to him even though the pay isn't so good and he could be earning a lot more, just so he can save up enough money for his business idea, is going through pain. The job isn't befitting, but rather than stay idle and avoid pain, he decides to get what he can as he looks for something better while saving up. Making a decision to still take that unbefitting job is pain!

An obese young woman who decides to give up on eating certain kinds of food that she loves to eat just for the sake of reducing her weight is going through pain. It's difficult to eat only vegan diets. But for the sake of her mission, she goes through pain avoiding the alluring sight of eggs, chicken and the rest of them.

Some people decide to eat fewer times in a day than they should, just so they can save up money to pay for something important or buy an asset. That's pain. You see those guys building their body structure by going to the gym and working out daily? They're also going through pain to look the way they want.

The campaigning politician has to go round the country, it's not like he or she really wants to, but he or she has to move around, make different speeches and garner general support in order to win an election. That's pain.

In fact, knowing pain is knowing success. Show me a successful man and I'll show you a man who has known pain. Like they always say, "Pain is gain." Whatever pain you're passing through right now, keep it at the back of your mind that you're gaining something!

Now you shouldn't pass through pain without a target or an idea of what the pain will result into. You'll only be wasting your time. Why pass through pain that will result in nothing? There has to be something in it for you. So, you should be wise to know why you're passing through any form of pain or sacrifice.

Passing through pain involves time. And just like I shared in a previous article "Tick Tock Says The Time," time shouldn't be wasted at all. Therefore, don't waste your pain. Your pain is there to lead you to your success. Pain should make you successful. It shouldn't leave you in the same position. This is important.

In conclusion, let's not run away from pain. Pain is necessary for us to succeed. Whatever painful situation you're passing will not last. It will pass, you will survive it. It will make you better. It may look difficult right now, but once you've paid your price, you will reap the dividends of your pain.

Keep winning!

Stay Hopeful And Don't Worry

stay hopeful and don't worry

"An important lesson that we can all easily get out of life is to make sure that we live each day to the best of our ability, not live each day worrying about every difficult challenge that we face. We have to consciously tell our subconscious to think of things that motivate us instead of things that deflate us.

When you find yourself starting to think negatively about a situation that is prominent in your life, quickly turn the negative thought into a positive thought.

Remember that each day is a new day, a new day in which you can make a new beginning, so throw off your worries before you throw off your clothes at night, and make every new day better than the day before."

Worrying cannot be beneficial to a bold winner. A bold winner only thinks about ways to fulfill his life's mission, he doesn't worry. Worry is needless concern over something which saps your energy and keeps you thinking negatively about your ambitions. You should never spend a second worrying.

Worrying disturbs your piece of mind and leaves you with only mental anxiety. It troubles you, it leaves no room for creative thinking. It just keeps showing you reasons why you're not going to be successful or why something will turn out badly.

Don't be a person who worries. Whatever has happened in the past has happened. Worrying over them is just useless. Whatever possibilities lie in the future shouldn't worry you. Make the most of the present time and do what you have to do to get to wherever you want.

Don't let a worrying mind stop you. Come out new every moment. Don't be trapped by your past errors and misgiving. Make sure you're flexible enough to switch your mood to be happy once again whenever you're trapped by worry.

As Niyi rightly pointed out, every day is a new day. Drop off the old version of yourself and strive to put on a new positive, hopeful, cheerful, happy and inspired self.

Keep winning!

Invest In Yourself

invest in your self

"Today, I want to challenge you to invest in yourself. In this day and age, every individual is responsible for building their own future, either as a career person or a business owner.

The world is constantly changing and people are looking for more relevant ways to advance careers and newer ways to do business. It is time to invest in yourself and ensure that you take your place with high achievers.

Take an audit of your current knowledge and your current skills. Then invest some time and other resources in acquiring more knowledge and becoming more skillful. Equip and prepare yourself for your brilliant future!"

It's highly important that you spend a major part of your time investing in yourself. You are the greatest asset you have and it's your responsibility to invest massively in your own self.

First step to do that is to know yourself. Once you've known yourself, it's easier to identify your purpose and once you've identified that as well, you focus on investing in yourself to gather sufficient knowledge and experience needed in the line of your purpose.

Once you've invested in yourself well enough, you then try to fulfill your purpose of existence by taking actions guided by your core essence, knowledge and expertise gathered with time.

You see.. Time is a resource that we all need to be very conscious about because any time wasted can never be recovered. Have an inward look at how you spend your time. If what you're doing with your time is not developing you in the line of your purpose, then you are greatly wasting your time.

Do useful things with your time. Stop losing time, gain time by making smarter decisions. Rather than watch hundreds of movies each month, you can use that time and test a business idea or check out free training videos online in line with your passion.

Rather than spend all weekends clubbing, partying and whiling away time, why not set up a meeting with your friends and discuss on a wonderful idea? Why not start writing that book? Why not register for that competition? Why not play piano? Why not learn dancing, if you're passionate about it?

Investing in yourself isn't just about time though. You should invest your money as well. Spend your money buying useful things that will help you fulfill your purpose. Buy books that inspire you to be the best you can be.. Not just novels or short stories.

Why not register for that paid training that's in line with your purpose instead of spending the money on smoking, drinking and partying? Why not buy those assets you need with your money instead of spending them on gambling? Why not save up that money for your plans rather than get the latest ostentatious phone model with it?

Learn to invest your time and money in yourself and in those things in line with your life's purpose. You are a bold winner because you always know better. The sky is your limit! Keep winning!

Be As Clear As Crystal

be clear as Crystal

"I’d like to share this with you today. It is lack of clarity that keeps you stuck in a certain pattern. Lack of clarity usually shows up in three ways: personal fears, feelings of powerlessness and lack of focus. Once you have recognized this, you need to consciously release your fears.

Work on empowering yourself in every way you can and with your words. To completely break the cycle of lack of clarity, you also need to learn to focus on what you have set out to do. That way, you will move from knowledge to action and you will get the right results.

Acting consistently and towards the right purpose is important. Work out your vision. Work out your purpose. Be clear on what you want in life. "

Being clear is having a distinct purpose, direction and focus. And a person who has a distinct purpose, direction and focus has a very high chance of being successful in whatever he or she does. Are you clear on exactly what you want in your life? Are you still unsure of what you really want to do?

You see, many people aren't yet clear about exactly what they want to do with their lives or what they want out of it. That's why they are stuck in the same situation moving round in circles. Check out this previous article titled "Always Know Exactly What You Want." It throws more light on what I mean by being clear.

When you are not clear, you will be stuck in the same situation without any improvement. If you live in a rented apartment, you have to be clear that you want to build your own house before it can ever come to pass. That clarity is what puts your consciousness on the alert to work diligently towards it.

If you want to date someone of the opposite sex, you will need to be clear on the kind of partner you want or else anything goes and you have all manner of people coming into your life and leaving as well. Being clear on qualities of a desired partner makes you recognize the partner easily. Being clear opens your eyes to opportunities that can lead you to exactly what you want. But first, you must be clear!

Clarity in anything we do is indispensable. You want to be rich? How rich? You want to start a business? What kind of business? You want to pass a course? With what grade? We need to pinpoint exactly what we want with our clarity. It will help us go a long way!

Be clear to keep winning!

Always Face Your Fears

Always face your fears

"Let me encourage you to be courageous in the things you set out to achieve. Success belongs to those who face their fears and move on in spite of it. When you take steps to be the person you dream about, it is likely that all kinds of fears and self-doubt will kick in. however, that is not the time to shrink back. It is the time to display courage. Courage is not the absence of fear. Courage is the ability to move on in spite of the fear that you feel.

Let me tell you a secret: every successful person had to face that giant called ‘fear’. Even the best of us become afraid when we have to take steps to achieve great things. What distinguishes a person is not the absence of fear. It is the persistence to move on in face of fear. So, don’t give up because of your fear. Be courageous!"

Being bold and courageous in the pursuit of our goals is indispensable. We simply cannot do anything if we are not even daring enough to try them. Yes, we tend to be scared sometimes. There are many things we are not even sure about but we shouldn't let that fact prevent us from taking bold steps.

Here's a flashback of a previous blog post "Face Your Fears And Live Your Dreams":

Consider this short story:
One day, a young buffalo named Jack approached his father and asked him if there was anything that he should be afraid of. “Only the lions my son,” his father responded.

“Okay, I'd be careful around lions. If I see anyone, I’ll turn and run as fast as I can,” said Jack.
“No, that’s the worst thing you can do,” said Jack's father. “Why? Are they going to kill me?" asked Jack
The dad smiled and replied, “Jack, if you run away, the lions will chase you and catch you. And when they do, they will pounce on you and tear you apart”.

“So what should I do?” asked Jack.
“If you ever see a lion, stand your ground to show him that you’re not afraid. If he doesn’t move away, show him your sharp horns and stomp the ground with your hooves. If that doesn’t work, move slowly towards him. If that doesn’t work, charge him and hit him with everything you’ve got!”

“That’s crazy, I’ll be too scared to do that. What if he attacks me back?” said the startled young buffalo. “Look around, Jack. What do you see?” Jack looked around at the rest of his herd. There were about 300 massive beasts all armed with sharp horns and huge shoulders.

“If ever you’re afraid, know that we are here. If you panic and run from your fears, we can’t save you, but if you charge towards them, we’ll be right behind you”. The young buffalo breathed deeply and nodded. “Thanks dad, I think I understand".

Like young Jack, most of us are afraid to face our deepest fears. We'd rather run away and not face it squarely, but running away from our fears automatically means that we've lost.

We're afraid of many things: what people will think about us, failure, not meeting up with challenges etc. These fears often keep us trapped in the same situation and stifles our progress.

You cannot succeed without mastering your fears because it is only when we face them that we become free to make progress. Running away from it always loses outrightly. So, how do you address your fears?

First, you have to identify them all. Whether you're afraid of what people would say about you behind your back or you're afraid of what they'd think about how you look, how you talk, how you do anything, first identify these fears.

Secondly, ask yourself, what's the worst thing that could happen? If I try to make that speech or crack that joke and I get booed of stage, So what? It's far better than not trying. It has offered you a platform to discover your level of mastery and improve your loopholes. The audience will probably laugh and talk behind your back for that day, then so what?

If you really love someone and you want to ask her out on a date, what's the worst that could happen? One of two things would happen: either she agrees or she would decline, tell you she's not interested and probably giggle. So what? Would you kill yourself?

If you want to invest in that business, one of two things could happen: You either land a good deal and rake in millions or you lose some money. If you lose some money, so what? Many multimillionaires have lost much money in investments before getting wealthy.

The thing is that fear of losing keeps us from trying at all. Not trying at all means we've lost, but in trying, there is the 50% chance of being successful and this 50% really counts. It involves risk of course, but people who want to be successful must be willing to take that risk rather let the fear of losing make them automatically lose.

If you don't face your fears, the chances of success are reduced to Zero. Not taking a shot at all guarantees 100% failure. A popular quote says "You miss 100% of the shots you don't take."

Being successful involves risk. The one who is willing to be successful must be daring enough to take risks. Always ask yourself what's the worst that could happen? If you can answer that question very well, you will understand that all our fears are usually baseless and focused on things that don't even matter.

It doesn't matter if they laugh at you, it doesn't matter what they think about you look, it doesn't matter if most people say it's impossible, it doesn't even matter if you fail.

It only matters when you're daring to get up after each fall and try over again. We must cultivate the persistent attitude of courageously facing our fears and telling the world that were ready to continue taking risks and that the fear of failing cannot stop us from doing so.

Fear can be a good motivator if we master it.
We must also accept the fact that in trying, we either win or lose. Never let fear restrain your actions. Let it challenge you instead.

Till next time, face your fears and keep on winning!

On Making Mistakes

On making mistakes

"I want to share something very important with you today. In life, you will make mistakes. That’s okay. Mistakes help us to learn and grow. However, when you make a mistake, you must learn to forgive yourself very quickly.

Remember that no one made it through life without falling down a number of times. If you do not forgive yourself, you will weaken your faith in yourself and also your ability to trust yourself in the future.

You are your own greatest ally and so, you must always have a good relationship with yourself. Never beat yourself up when things go wrong. Acknowledge your mistakes, learn from them and move on in life."

Mistakes are not the end. They are just lessons on your path. Don't think that you can never fail. Failure is actually an option in real life which we are sometimes forced to choose. Mistakes happen and you can't kill yourself over anyone of them.

Some go on letting mistakes bother their minds and they don't see the bigger picture. It shouldn't be so. If you've made a mistake already, there's no point in beating yourself over it. Just learn the lesson from the mistake and move on.

Mistakes are our teachers.

"A person who never made a mistake, never tried anything new" - Albert Einstein

We cannot get everything right, sometimes we will make mistakes, but what's important is how you let this mistake affect you. Are you going to let it draw you back and fill up your mind negatively? Or are you going to take the lesson, improve yourself and strategy, then keep on trying positively?

Your choice!

Maintain A Positive Attitude

Positive Attitude

"One big hurdle we all must get over in our lives is dealing with the impossible. As we face life encountering both the good and the bad, we have to realize that a positive attitude is the key to becoming invincible. That is the key to accomplishing impossible situations.

We have to confront the most absurd of opportunities, take the boldest of risks, and be who we are at our core day in and day out.
We also have to come to realize that the only scenario in which the "impossible" will ever be able to defeat us, is when we start thinking in a negative and defeated manner.

So, stay positive in everything you do, never stop trying, and believe wholeheartedly that failure is not a permanent option!"
- Niyi

Maintaining a positive attitude about life is a must for bold winners. A positive attitude keeps you in the best frame of mind at all times. It keeps you happy, hopeful and determined. A negative attitude does the exact opposite. It makes you worried, unhappy and pessimistic.

In life, we face ups and downs. Sometimes we succeed and at other times we fail. We conventionally tend to only feel very positive when we succeed and feel down whenever we fail, this is what most people do. They only feel positive when the are excelling.

However, to really rise above mediocrity, one must learn to maintain a positive attitude both on good times and bad times. Because, as a bold winner you cannot be subject to the rule that says you should feel sad and disappointed during any failure.

If you feel down and disappointed during any failures, that could hinder your success. When you dwell on feeling negatively during your bad days, you fail to see your opportunities. You fail to see other ways to achieve success from that failure. Your resolution to succeed now becomes delayed and obscured because your mind is occupied by negative emotions.

In contrast, if you understand the power of maintaining a positive attitude always, you will not be moved or discouraged by any failures, no matter how many times you fail. You will remain optimistic as you're always seeing a way forward with every setback. Your mind becomes so focused on your goals that no failures can bother you at all.

This mind with an undeterred focus is the thing that separates winners from losers. Maintaining a positive attitude makes your mind fixated on your goal with that undeterred focus.

You will win every time and you will always be happy because this attitude takes you much higher than any challenges that may come your way!

Remain positive and keep winning!

Be Your Own Self

be your own self

"I want to emphasize to you how special you are. Many people are trying so hard to be like other people. The media has filled our minds with all sorts of role models and sometimes, we find ourselves trying to play copycats.

We can learn from people, but we should never try to be like them, not at the expense of disliking ourselves. Do not get lost in the shuffle. Express your own unique gifts and talents. Do not consider your talents insignificant because the crowd is doing something else.

At best, you can only be a poorer fake version of someone else. But you can be the best ‘you’ that ever walked the surface of the earth. Your Creator did not make a mistake in assigning certain talents and personalities to you. Love yourself. Be yourself."

In today's world, we have a lot of people who are not even comfortable in their own skin. They always wish they were someone else other than their own selves. They feel that if only they were in the shoes of another person or if they were that person, life will automatically be a bed of roses.

They often overlook the unseen lives lived by those same people they want to be like. They don't see when those people were unknown and unseen. They don't see when they were working very hard to be where they are presently. They don't see the pain those people passed through to get there.

All they can easily see is a successful person who they just want to be like. Well, becoming successful in life doesn't work by just wanting to copy or be like someone who has already arrived. It starts with being yourself, loving yourself and diligently working on improving your peculiar talents.

If you don't want to be yourself, by first loving yourself the way you are and being grateful for whatever you presently have, how can you identify your talents? Therefore, learn to be yourself and be comfortable in your own skin. Stop trying too hard to copy another person.

There is something's specifically unique to you that you need to identify, master and develop. If you identify it, your life will be blissful because you have found your ultimate purpose. You will see yourself becoming much more productive, focused and determined.

Find that thing by being yourself.

Only You Can Stop You

only you can stop you

"If you don’t believe in yourself, no one will believe in you. No one can give you the resolution to succeed except yourself.

Obstacles can not stop you, problems can not stop you; and most of all, others can not stop you. The only one who can stop you is yourself."
 - Niyi

People could blame other things asides themselves for not being successful in life. But they all forget to blame the one person responsible for everything: themselves.

You have to believe in yourself and in your ability to excel at anything you decide to do. You've got to have faith in yourself and in your dreams.

When you look at it, you are the only one who has stopped yourself from getting anything you desire. Either you've not talked to persons you need to talk to or take actions you are meant to take.

The ball has always been in your court, but you've not scored because you're waiting for someone else to kick your shot for you. No one can do it for you. It has to be you. You have to create what you want by yourself.

It doesn't mean you must work alone or try to do everything yourself. It means that you have to take the initiative, call the people you need to call, go to seminars and trainings you need to get to, buy the things you have to buy, meet and discuss with minds you need to meet.

You've got to set things in motion by knowing that nothing else stops you more than yourself.

If you really want something to be done. Don't wait for anyone to do it, because you don't know how long it will take them to eventually do it and you don't know if they will even do it at all.

As a bold winner, you should always know better. Don't wait for a situation to turn around by itself or for something good to just happen. Waiting is too risky. Make it happen the way you want it to happen because no one else can stop it but you.

You only prevent yourself from getting what you want when you believe that other things can really stop you. Nothing does but yourself!

Day 7: Dare To Be Different

Dare To Be Different

"Today, I want to DARE you to be different. If you do what everyone is doing, you will get what everyone is getting. Look around you. The society celebrates mediocrity so much that it does not take much to set yourself above the rest. Doing that one thing regularly will put you way above the rest.

Read books that challenge you and make you think. Associate with the right set of people that challenge you to excellence. Know that you have an abundance of potential within you and I’m charging you to bring it out to fruition. You are unique and special."

You can't be a copy. You can't be doing the same thing everyone else is doing else you'll be lost in the crowd. To really be great and stand out, you have to be different. Do something differently. Try a different way of achieving a particular result. Be different.

Don't be a conformist who always does as he or she is told. Be yourself always. All it takes is an honest decision and an attempt, the sky's the limit from there.

Here's an excerpt from a previous post:

Have you ever felt like you don't fit in at all or that you are so different from other people around you? Do you feel down because you are not like them? Are you troubled because you are unique and what interests you seems not to appeal to others?

I've got something to tell you: You are lucky to be different. Being different is a blessing and a precious gift. Most of the greatest innovations and ideas of mankind were brought forth by those who dared to be different. Being different means that you are destined for something greater than the average.

It's not a crime to have different ideas from what everyone else believes. It's not bad to be interested in different things than what majority of people seem to be interested in. You must not do the same things everyone else is doing or chase after what they pursue.

Your difference is your selling point. Your creativity and real self manifests through your differences. That's why recognising that you're different should be good news and shouldn't make you worry. Being different means you're in a position to see things differently, do things differently and possibly create something new that the world has never seen before.

Are you really curious about the stars? Are you passionate about the media whereas others around you talk football all the time? Do you love history and politics rather than biology loved by your friends? Do you want to become a musician when your friends would rather be business men? Are you passionate about joining the forces whereas your family wants you to be a doctor?

Something must be different about you. Learn to pursue that thing without trying to conform to what everyone else wants for you.
Sometimes we feel it's a problem to be different because we fail to surround ourselves with people of like minds and similar interests. You may be in a community surrounded by natives who only care about agriculture while you are really interested in the ICT industry. How do you cope? You tend to feel down because few people share similar interests.
That doesn't mean you are wrong to have your own unique inclinations.

With the internet, it is easier to connect with people of like minds and similar interests who can help you see the beauty of pursuing that thing that makes you different. Various groups and communities that share similar ideals are already existing online and more are springing up.

We are in a World of unlimited possibilities and incredible potentials. You should consider yourself lucky to be different from other people. All you need to do is accept your difference and shine through it. Perfect it and make a difference in this world with what makes you different. Don't get discouraged by what everyone around you is doing or what they love.

Appreciate your own self the way you are and genuinely love the fact that you are different. Being different doesn't mean you should not relate well with other people. You just respect their differences as well but most of all tremendously respect yours. Work with them if you can, but never let them make you feel down about being different or discourage you from shining through your uniqueness.

If you're different, you are lucky! Shine and make a difference through your difference!

Dare to be different and keep winning!

Tick Tock Says The Time

Tick tock says time

"Today, I want you to always remember that you don’t have as much time as you think you do. Time is like a river. You cannot touch the same water twice, because the flow that has passed will never pass again. A man who dares to waste one hour of time has not discovered the true value of life.

The way we spend our time defines who we are. People use the hours of a day differently. But the way you spend your time determines the quality of your life. Ordinary people think merely of spending time, great people think of using it.

If you don’t take the time to work on creating the life you want, then you’re eventually going to be forced to spend a lot of time dealing with a life you don’t want."

Some people think that there is enough time, bold winners understand that the time is always at zero(now). The way your life turns out is very much dependent on how you spend your time.

What are you doing with your time? Are you using your time to develop yourself? Are you using it to pursue your dreams and associate with the right set of people? Or are you merely whiling it away?

It is best to take an introspective look into our lives and figure out exactly how appropriately we are using up this time because it is the most important thing we have.

Most people who have wasted a major part of their time as youths are wishing that they could turn back the hands of time, but time lost is time lost. Time doesn't come back. If it's gone, it's gone. That's why we need to always put it to the best use.

Spend your time in making yourself a better person. Spend your time trying out various things and starting up your ideas early enough. Spend your time with people that bring out the best in you, not those that push you to negative thinking.

Time is worth more than money. You can always make money, but you can't make time. Cherish your time and live your life fully at every moment.

Master your time and keep winning!

Are You Purpose Driven?

are you purpose driven?

"Great minds have purpose. Little minds have wishes. A purpose-driven life is a life driven with a motive. If you ever want to be happy you really have to do some soul searching throughout your early years to be able to move towards the life you really want.

A purposeful mind is much larger than a mind that is just willing to wish, because not only can it see the impossible, but it can also move close to receiving the impossible. Just because you have a vision for yourself doesn’t at all mean that you are living out your vision.

We have to be able to follow who we are on the inside, and the road to becoming who we desire to be will become as clear as day. We aren't all blessed with vision, but those who are must realize that having a wish isn’t good enough; we have to be willing to try and live out our dreams."
- N. Adesanya

Today, we have our fifth article on the "18 Days of Inspiration" articles series. It's going to be all about purpose. What's your purpose here on earth? If you don't have a purpose of existence, then you're merely wasting resources by existing and you won't be moving in any particular direction or getting any useful results.

Previously, we shared an article on Two Questions to know yourself. The second question is connected to purpose which asks "why are you here?" Life has been designed to favor very purposeful and highly intentional individuals who diligently work towards any particular thing with a keen intent.

When your life is purpose driven, you are confident, passionate, determined, focused and enthused. When you live on purpose and not by accident, you will not easily give up on that purpose even when things are not presently going very well. You will persist and keep trying because deep inside of you, you have seen yourself already manifesting that purpose.

If you're purpose driven, you won't be a cry baby or a complainer who keeps throwing blames at everything for every difficulty you encounter. Instead, you will be highly motivated and resilient because you have become in control of your destiny just by virtue of having that purpose.

Look, you are meant to control your life and refuse to live by accident or chance. A life without purpose is akin to a driver who jumps into a car and keeps driving without any particular direction. Of course, the driver will waste his time and energy on the way and eventually the driver's fuel will run out. What's our fuel in this life? It's time! Time is one of the most valuable things!

A life without a purpose, wastes your useful time which could be channeled to better use. How do you find your purpose? It all starts with knowing yourself, your unique attributes and what you're really passionate about. Then naturally, your purpose will become very clear to you as you know yourself better. It's not a one day job.

Tomorrow, we will be talking about that resource called time, which we waste when we are not living on purpose. We hope you stay with us.

Stay purpose driven and keep winning!

Failures And What People Have Said Or Done To You Don't Matter

failure doesn't matter

"I want you to always keep in mind that you are too big to be a dwarf, too loaded to be a mediocre. Many times, we limit ourselves because we do not know the potentials that lie deep and untapped within us.It does not matter if people have said or done things to condemn you in the past.

You have your future to prove every one of them wrong. The legendary Henry Ford, the owner of Ford Motors was nothing to be reckoned with in the academics, but he turned out to become a genius in the automobile industry.

When Henry went to school and failed, he was encouraged to learn bicycle repair. There he developed until he became a Motor Manufacturer. At the age of forty, he ventured into car manufacturing, and against all odds he became the household name we know today. By the time he was sixty years of age, he was one of the world’s richest men of his time! Believe in yourself and make your life count. You can do it!"

Your resolution to excel and prosper in life shouldn't be defined or shaped by what people have said or done to you(Best to forget them entirely). It shouldn't even be shaped by the failures you've encountered on your journey.

As a matter of fact, anytime you fail, you should pat yourself on the back knowing that you've gained additional experience that can help you and that you're better off than those who haven't even tried that same thing at all.

The fact that other people have called you a failure, a good for nothing, a useless person or a lowlife in the past doesn't matter. It doesn't count and it should never count in your life if you're a bold winner. People can say whatever they feel like saying, but what is important is what you're saying to your own self. How do you perceive yourself?

If you've failed many times and people call you a loser, the worst thing you can do is listen to them and ALSO call yourself a loser. If you've understood the whole concept of what vast potentials you possess as a unique individual, you will see that listening to people's words or feeling defeated during a failure doesn't help you at all.

You've got to believe in yourself. And I'm not here to give you some motivational speech which you'll probably forget soon enough. I'm here to tell you that motivational speeches won't help you if you don't even believe yourself and if you've let your mistakes or people's words destroy that quintessential belief in your own self.

It's so important you believe you can. It's so important that you don't dwell on any negative thing from the past because it stops you from experiencing the present and creating your future. You should be new every moment. Your belief in yourself should be refreshed and renewed daily.

When you continually do this, you will see tremendous changes happening in your personal life and you will build a formidable self - esteem.

Stay sharp and keep winning!

Two Questions To Know Yourself

Two Questions

"I want you to ask yourself this question: “Who am I?” In finding out who you truly are, self-awareness is the first thing you need to access. You need to be aware of yourself and ask yourself questions. Also, when you become aware of yourself there is restoration of value and worth.

You must realize that your self-worth is not based on your achievements, what you can do or what you cannot do. Your worth is based on your heritage. In the eyes of God, the Creator of the Universe, nobody is more valuable than you are.

“Who in the world are you? Why are you here?” These are questions you ask yourself to enable you discover who you really are. Once you are able to answer these questions truthfully, you are on your way to success."
- N.Adesanya

Pythagoras, a philosopher, once said "Know thyself and thou shall know all the mysteries of the gods and of the universe." He might have been exaggerating on the importance of knowing oneself, but there are many reasons why truth is contained in that maxim "Know Thyself."

Most of the problems we face in our lives has its root in our identity and the idea of who we think we are. The way we perceive ourselves is the very foundation of everything. If we perceive ourselves right through a thorough knowing of ourselves, we will be able to easily figure out why we are here.

Today, many people still battle with trying to figure out their purpose and what they're destined to do. They go through life wandering aimlessly without an idea of who they are, their unique attributes and subsequently what they are meant to do. This has led to many of them being unfulfilled and unhappy.

The first question you should ask yourself is "Who am I?" Do you know who you really are? Take a moment to figure that out. Think about it deeply. Who are you? Some people have come to believe that they are failures or losers because of what they may have faced or experienced in their personal lives. They begin to identify with failure and hopelessness. They are making a big mistake. .

If you look at the lives of achievers and bold winners, they have a great perception of who they are. This spurs them into having very positive beliefs about their abilities and their actions. Of course, they end up achieving things that hitherto looked impossible. This is because they have a good internal identity of themselves.

If you look at it very well, the very essence of who you are is deeply spiritual. It's beyond what you look like, whatever name you answer, where you're from or anything like those. It's a beautiful thing that who you are is beyond your experiences or environmental factors.

You are fearfully and wonderfully made. You are special beyond words. You're creative. You are something so special that it cannot even be expressed in words. I want you to be constantly aware of that.

You are unique, you are specially gifted in different areas. Part of the process of knowing who you are is your ability to figure out what you are naturally talented at. Are you good in arguments, are you good in calculation, are you good at dancing, speaking, writing and etcetera. You have to figure these things out.

Ask people close to you what they think you're naturally good at. Sometimes, the people around you could know many things about yourself that you've not even noticed before. Their answers coupled with your deep analysis of yourself should help you identify the answer to the other question which is "Why am I here?"

Answering these two questions is crucial to living our lives fully in awareness. They are the key to rapid personal growth and success. You must get your identity right. Trying to live with a false identity usually leads to misery. You should get your identity right by knowing yourself. With the right identity which opens you up to recognizing your unique opportunities, it will be easy to figure out why you're here.

Know yourself, understand why you're here and keep winning!
