A September to Remember

September, the 9th month of the year. It takes 9 months for a pregnant woman to deliver a baby. September will deliver a truckload of amazing stuff for you.

Look, I don't know your challenges or what may be bothering your mind.. but there is something I am convinced of.. and I learnt this from my personal experiences.. Here it is:

When you've tried everything you can, when everything has failed, maybe you've tried family, friends, connections, everything you thought help could come from and they all fail..

Remember that there is one supreme source that never fails.. the source where this earth comes from, the source that created us and gave us a mind and a body to experience this existence. That source is God.

Everything else may sometimes fail us for a very good reason: for us to realize that nothing is really permanent. The only permanence in this world is that which has been existing from the beginning, never changes and will exist forever which is God the giver of life.

Once you have your trust grounded in him, everything aligns and works together for your greater good. Everything aligning doesn't mean there won't be challenging times anymore.. as long as we are alive, there will be trying times. In those times, our minds can't see the big picture of how God arranges things, hence we worry too fast cos we don't understand what God is doing. But rather than worrying, we should try trusting, praying and praising God in the midst of any challenge. In short, the more worried you are.. the more trusting you need to be.

Do not allow yourself be worried about anything.. don't allow your mind be sad over anything.. don't think too much about your challenges.. Just do all your best about it and most importantly trust in God and pray about these things.

Praying properly is an act of humility which shows you acknowledge that there are limits to what you can control as human and you are inviting the divine to intervene. God answers prayers.

This month will surprise you as you trust in God the creator of all things visible and most importantly the invisible.

What Happened To Victor Pride of Bold and Determined?

So after so many months without visiting his blog, I tried to visit boldanddetermined.com for some fired up articles only to get a surprise.. that the blog has been permanently closed and then there's podcast following from Vic Pride (now Brother Nicholas) claiming that He's now Born again and has given his life to Jesus Christ. In today's world, it seems as though the definition of a man is getting more debased day by day. Value systems seem to have changed and being a man appears to now be centered on ephemeral, distasteful and immoral behaviour. Here on this blog, you'll get the truth on the definition of a true man. I was discussing with a friend few days ago when the idea hit me to really share this blog post because I feel it's important people in relationships know this. In a world of so many distractions, two attributes that can keep you on track are your focus and determination. Without these two, you will waste your energies trying to do many things without achieving any. When you have a good measure of focus and determination to achieve a particular objective in your life, you hardly fail. There's the story of two farmers: a wise farmer and a foolish farmer. They were both raising chickens for sale on different farms. On the same day day, it happened that 4 of their chickens escaped(for the both of them).
